The exhibition will feature sixteen digital archives with iconic Australian innovations like wifi, the bionic ear, polymer notes, and innovators including Marc Newson, Michael Simcoe and Denton Corker Marshall. The exhibition design theme highlights the invention of wifi by the CSIRO in Australia presenting cloud based content on IOS devices utilising an app and mobile content delivery technology developed by Art Processors. Curator Ian Wong is collaborating with traditional Chinese artist Minghua Zhang and merging ancient Chinese craft with the latest lightweight metal 3D printing technology. The resulting 3D printed titanium Chinese seals (yang) are featured as the “trigger” for this sustainable and innovative interactive exhibition. The digital archive for each project is activated automatically as visitors approach each individually crafted seal resting on a small podium.
